It didn't end a year ago--Kritiker still exists, as does SS, and they are still two factions at war. Schwartz still exists, Weiß still exists, and they're still out doing missions and occassionally fighting one another. One night--one ordinary night, one normal mission, a few exchanged words--and that all changed. Out of the woodwork came another organization who called themselves Versenkbar--German for "disappearing"--and it forced Kritiker and SS onto the same side. Nobody knows what they're after. They seem like unbeatable assassins, deadly killers with a love for playing games with people . . . and their organization is involved in some truly horrifying crimes. They're connected to a ring of prostitution that stretches over ten countries and results in the deaths of over five-hundred young children and women daily; they're at the center of a drug ring so intensely protective of its wares that Kyoto neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble in an attempt to keep the mind-altering merchandise safe. Forced into an uneasy alliance, the members of WeiB and Schwarz must work together to solve the mystery of where these people are coming from . . . and what they want. Self-preservation is the key, and nobody knows who will come out the victor--only that if they do not fight, death is inevitable. Schwarz needs extra support on the information, while Weiß is desperately fighting the psychics that Versenkbar has employed.

Welcome to Disappearing Innocence, a PBeM RPG based on the world of Weiß Kreuz. We're just an ordinary group looking to have a little fun with our favorite anime series, as you can obviously see. ^_~ If you think you'd like to be a part of the world of Disappearing Innocence, we're more than happy to have you... if you can get in. Our application process is pretty heinous, so apply...if you dare. But first, you should probably read through the following FAQ. It will clarify anything you might need to know before you move on.

F.A.Q.

What is a RPG?
RPG stands for role-playing game. It literally means you take up the role of another character and act as them. It's much like writing a fanfic, so if you're good at that, you can probably roleplay pretty well, too. The abbreviation RP simply means roleplay.

What does PBeM mean?
This means play by e-mail. There are several forms of roleplaying. You can RP realtime in chatrooms, on messageboards, or even tabletop. However, we choose to roleplay by sending our posts via a mailing list. You'll need to have a working e-mail account to join.

What is Weiß Kreuz?
If you don't know this, you definitely shouldn't join. ^_~;; Weiß Kreuz is an anime about a group of assassins in Japan. There's also a very short manga, and a series of drama albums. Disappearing Innocence takes place a year after the anime series. The drama albums are assumed canon, but the manga is not. If you'd like to know more about Weiß Kreuz, there are plenty of links on Anipike.

How can I join the RPG?
First, I have to warn you that we don't accept just anybody. Unfortunately, our review board is pretty strict. However, if you want to try, go to the rules page and make sure you follow all of the instructions.
